Antique 15ct Fetter and Lovers Knot Chain

A beautifully delicate yet detailed antique chain with fetter links and lovers knot links. It was once a long guard chain that has been split into smaller pieces to create more wearable pieces. This chain is perfect with the oversized bolt clasp and matching dog clasp. They can hold all your charms or look just as beautiful on their own to the front.
 
Crafted in antique 15ct gold, with the most beautiful buttery hue that you can only get in these old pieces of jewellery. It will look great in any stack!
 
Hallmarks: There is an end tag marked "15", the dog clasp is stamped 18c and the bolt clasp is not hallmarked but is tested as 15ct gold. 
 
Condition: The chain is in good antique condition with wear commensurate with age. Both clasps are strong and springy. There are only a couple of areas of repair to some of the links to strengthen them but this is only noticeable on close inspection.
