Antique (1920) 18ct Star Set Diamond Ring

Dare we say this would make the cutest pinky ring. Don't tell, but that's where it has been sitting on my hand since we picked it up... And we adore it.

Despite the dainty finger size she still looks and feels chunky with that perfect panel top set with a beautiful sparkling diamond set into an 8-point star. The 18ct gold is buttery and soft from its years of love.

We imagine that as this ring has been historically sized down that it may have been passed through generations, perhaps originating as a grandfather's pinky ring and made its way down through family members. Its our imagination, but wherever it has been it has been loved and cared for.

The little old cut diamond is bright and lively and packs some sparkle for such a dainty jewel.

Hallmarks: Crown 18, Anchor for Birmingham, date letter for the year 1920. There is also a makers mark, "A.Bros"

Condition: The ring is in great antique condition with wear commensurate with age. The diamond is secure. There is a faint resizing line to the side of the band from a historic resize.

Size UK H/ US 3.75 (This ring can be resized up by about 3 sizes)
